infant program
RLC provides a save, nurturing environment for infants that promotes each child's development. Our infant and toddler program is based on the importance of meeting each child's needs, respect for the family, and providing a safe, healthy Christian environment.

Rehoboth Learning Center provides an infant and toddler learning environment as a service to the community as a mission of Rehoboth United Methodist Church. The mission of our program is to lovingly teach, build character, and promote health of children through God’s Word in Jesus Christ. We are committed to providing a loving, nurturing, positive atmosphere for children to learn and play within a Christian environment. At Rehoboth, we realize that the first years of life are critical to a child’s development. During this time, children are discovering who they are, how others respond to them, how to relate to others, how to express their feelings, and whether they are loved. Their brains are being “wired” into patterns for social, emotional, physical, and cognitive development. Our curriculum encourages children to explore their interests and allows them to progress at their own developmental pace.
It is our belief that it is extremely important to both build a foundation and future with each child and their family. Our Infant and Toddler Program is based on our knowledge of the theories of early childhood development, the importance of meeting each child’s needs, respect for the family, and providing a safe, healthy Christian environment.
We will work to promote each child’s development and learning through routines and various skill building activities. We strive to make our space as welcome, comfortable and interesting as possible. Our daily activities include playing with toys, art experiences, engaging in imitation and imaginative play, enjoying stories and books, exploring our senses, music and movement, and outdoor play. At Rehoboth, we promote the growth of the whole child.
